Technical details — Stud wall
Extractable track system (patented)
The DECO PLUS system has a patented extractable track which allows you to remove the track at any time without having to break into the wall.
Metal track holder
Horizontal bar made by metal, rather than wood, increases the robustness of the structure against above loads.
Maintenance free track and runners
Smooth and quiet sealed for life runners with chrome steel ball
bearings run in an enclosed track so they cannot derail. Suitable for door panels up to 100 Kg.
Horizontal reinforced bars
12 reinforced horizontal bars dovetail shaped made of 7/10 mm galvanized steel to guarantee high resistance to
lateral pressure (this will constantly keep the sliding seat in its original form). Robustness is fundamental as the frame replaces a portion of the wall.
Vertical reinforced bars
DECO PLUS pocket entrance verticals are made from 1.2 mm galvanised steel, formed into strong profifiles. These are the strongest of their type on the market.
Self centering door guide
Quick and easy to fifit to the pocket door with no holes to drill, this guide cleverly guarantees a perfectly centred
position.
Two adjustable door stops
When you close a pocket door, you don’t want the door to start sliding back in the opening position, revealing an annoying chink of light. To avoid this the DECO PLUS system has specially designed small clamps that hold the door in the closing position.

THE RESISTANCE OF THE OPEN STRUCTURE
DECO PLUS sliding pocket door systems with open structure are 20% more resistant to lateral
bending compared to most products currently available on the market.
This is essential to guarantee the correct sliding of the door.
The 12/10 mm reinforced vertical jambs together with the 12 horizontal 7/10 mm
reinforced bars, result in a much stronger structure compared to a closed sliding pocket
door systems made of a single metal sheet.

Extractable track system (patented)
The DECO PLUS has a patented extractable track which allows you to remove the track at any time without having to break into the wall.
Protruding plaster mesh (50x25 mm)
It joins the pocket door with the wall becoming an integral part of it, offering an increased adhesion of the counter frame to the solid wall for a homogeneous and resistant finish. The overboarding mesh acts as a join to the wall structure.
Vertical reinforced bars
DECO PLUS pocket entrance verticals are made from 1.2 mm galvanised steel, formed into strong profifiles.
These are the strongest of their type on the market.
Micro-ribbed filler plate
A 0.7 mm micro-ribbed fifiller plate is embossed to increase rigidity and strength. The embossing is a process of punching the metal sheet in order to create reliefs.
Horizontal reinforced bars
16 horizontal bars attached to the mesh lends great resistance and rigidity to the pocket door, so that it
can effectively counter the tension generated by brickwork and solid wall. Robustness is fundamental as the frame replaces a portion of the wall.
Mesh-Frame fixing system without welding (Patented)
To avoid mistakes right during the installation. It comes with DECO PLUS SINGLE and DOUBLE, fifinished wall
thickness 90, 108, 125, and 150 mm (except for SIDERAL version) and DECO PLUS DP single and double.

Size Guide
It is important you understand this section as there are many sizes of studwork around the world. Stud walls are made from wooden or steel studwork with plasterboard attached.
The steel framework takes the place of the studwork and the doors are hung from the top track. DECO PLUS pockets can be used with steel or wooden studwork. In the photo you can see what it looks like before installing the plasterboard.

Adding the plasterboard to the studwork you will reach the required fifinished wall thickness dimension.
Here an example (considering the plasterboard is nearly always 12.5 mm thick):
75 mm stud work plus 12.5 mm plasterboard on each side gives a fifinished wall thickness of 100 mm.
100 mm stud work plus 12.5 mm plasterboard on each side gives a fifinished wall thickness of 125 mm.
